Headed by 5X World Champion Daniel Moraes, we focus on self-defense, fitness, character development and personal achievement, founded upon education. We maintain the highest standards of excellence in order to develop each and every one of our students into the best martial artist they can become.
Daniel Moraes - (11X World Medalist, 3rd Degree Black Belt)
Born on the 18th of August 1981 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He first started training when he was 5 years old at the “Iate Clube Jardim Guanabaraâ€.
He trained under Master Royler Gracie and Marcelo Clemente throughout his Jiu Jitsu career in Brazil, being awarded his black belt by the pair in 2002,
after having won 2 Mundial (World Championships) Gold Medals in the lower belts (Blue 1999, Purple 2000) and many other important Tournaments.
Daniel also fights in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) rules. He had a run in between 2006 and 2008, were picked up a submission win over UFC veteran Matt Brown,
and now provides Jiu-Jitsu training for various top MMA fighters including (Urijah Faber, Alan Belcher) to name a few.
He is one of only four grapplers to beat Marcelo Garcia in no-gi
(Pe de Pano, Jacare, Robert Drysdale); the only one in the same weight class.
